What is SoCrash?
SoCrash is an application for creating and editing text using AI. The application is aimed at working with copywriters and marketers. We started collaborating at the very inception of the SoCrash application in early 2022, before major players in the language model market emerged.
Objectives:
Create the entire brand identity
Develop the website and social media pages
Design the application interface (UX/UI design)
Launch an advertising campaign to attract free users
Develop the user journey from free to paid subscription
Stage 1 - Brand Creation
We created the brand's logo and mascot, which is designed to assist users within the interface when generating text and communicate information on social media and other resources. The mascot's name is "Crash". The mascot's ears are designed as a quill and inkwell. The mascot's face is a screen that can display various emotions during user interactions.
Stage 2 - Interface and Content
We developed a website aimed at capturing incoming traffic and converting it into registrations. Registration is free, ensuring minimal resistance for users. The website immediately showcases the application's interface and features, allowing users to start working quickly after visiting the site.
We created the UX/UI design for the entire application. Users enter a workspace that allows them to combine text generation tools for different tasks and edit text similarly to Word. Future plans included the integration of multi-user functionality.
Content for social media was created in the form of posts. Additionally, we developed promotional boxes featuring the mascot and viral ads for Tinder.
Stage 3 - Advertising Campaign
One of the strategies of the advertising campaign was to make the user as informed about the product as possible through several touchpoints. An actress fluent in English was chosen, and a script was written. Approximately 10 videos explaining various service tools were edited. The goal was to show the videos one after another using a retargeting system. We advertised through Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn, targeting the USA and UK initially. Subsequently, we expanded to all English-speaking countries.
Stage 4 - Bonus
After major players entered the AI market, we were tasked with reorienting the product. SoCrash became an assistant in financial investigations, and an interface for an AI application was developed to search the internet for information about people and compile it accordingly. The service was renamed SARA.
